Our learning
Our way !
Students at centre !!
Teacher what are we going to do today?" This question before the class, gave me a great deal of satisfaction. I then realized Yes, I am doing something not merely teaching. This question is my biggest award in my career as a Science teacher.
Action oriented class will always be a lively class. Learning will surely take place when students are in action and they are in charge of their learning. In this scenario, our job as a teacher becomes of a facilitator than a teacher. Helping students to learn, to analyse and come to conclusion is really a joyous process. This what I am experiencing in my journey so far. The most dynamic aspect of students centered approach is, the achievement of ability of students to judge outcomes without prejudice mind. Being a Science teacher, I would say this is the biggest achievement a teacher can dream of.
Lets have quick look at what activities I have conducted so far, for students centered approach in my science classes.
